The Department of Laboratory Medicine of the Clinical Center of the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD is opening a position of Lead Clinical Laboratory Scientist in the Flow Cytometry Laboratory of the Hematology Section.  The position is for a technologist with ample flow cytometry experience, preferably in clinical hematology or hematopathology.  The selected person should be able to perform Instrument maintenance and function checks, calibration, QC and troubleshooting, evaluate and optimize procedures and reagents, revise methodologies as needed, validate new instruments, prepare SOPs and related documents, and train other employees.  Computer skills is a plus but proficiency in analyzing results is not mandatory.
