We have been sucessfully transferring Lysys II data from our HP 340
via FACSnet to a VAX and on to a PC and into Cytomation's Cicero. (We do this
for one of two reasons: 1) Lysys II does not allow the desired maninpulation
of Time vs Ratio for Ca++ flux data, and 2) Lysys II does not allow creation
of black and white overlay histograms using various line styles, which can be
done in SigmaPlot.) We have also transferred data from Lysys II into PC Lysys
and Cicero using the HP Reader program.

When listing a directory in Cicero, the file type or source appears
after the file name, usually as "BD Lysys II...". We have come across a group
of files for which the file type is listed as "BD idge" and Cicero crashes
when we attempt to read the file. We have tried to send these files through
the VAX and through HP Reader with identical results. HELP!!! The files
appear to be OK in Lysys II (4 parameter, 256 resolution), but we need to make
a B & W overlay historgam for publication.
