Before you splash out on a new board, have you tried removing the board and
firmly pressing all the chips onto the board, sometimes this will do the trick
if your problem is a chip which has risen up a little, I'd take all the boards
out and do this (when the machine is off of course). Derek at ICRF and myself
would use this approach whenever we encountered electronic faults in our
FACScan, sometimes it worked. Happy days eh Derek.
