Coulter is coming out with (came out?) some reagents which may help
you. Their new product line is known as the Cell Probe Reagents. One
of these reagents (as I understand it) is e-coli labeled with PE-Cy5 (I
think). They have a number of other reagents, one of which measures
oxidative burst. This reagent is rhodamine labeled. I was told that I
could use these reagents in parallel to measure phagocytosis in humans.
I don't know if they work in dogs and/or cats. I have a lot of
experience using the reagent for oxidative burst (it works well), but I
have not used the e-coli reagent.
