In a response to a question on cell viability posed by Dr Miller last week I
referred to 7-AAD as a "vital" dye - which would be capable of staining
viable cells, when 7-AAD is actually a "viability dye" in that it only stains
dead cells and is excluded by viable cells. Thanks Howard for picking
up on the error - the thought police are needed on an open board!
