For almost two years we have conducted a comparison between the flow
differential and the Coulter Hematology instrumentation with VCS technology.
The flow diff. is set up using CD45/CD14/CD3, on a histogram gated only on the
total number of leukocytes (CD45) the percent lymphocytes can be determined from
a histogram of ninety degrees vs. CD14 (lymphs will be located in the lower left
corner).

We found no significant difference between the Flow diff. and the hemt.diff.
when comparing early or late stage HIV+ patients and age matched controls. This
data is currently under manuscript construction connected with a discussion on
the Department of Defense proficiency testing program.

Is there any way to get blood differential count by flow cytometry.

I am working on getting a literature search done. Meanwhile I thought of
getting input from experts on this forum. I have seen lots of great
exchanges here.
