Dear friends:

We are wondering about how feasible is to increase the sort speed of
our EPICS Elite ESP flow cytometer in order to get high purity cell
populations at more than 5000-10000 events/sec. I have heard of some
commercial devices compatible with most cytometers which let increase the
sort speed by modifying some pulse discrimination settings. At the same
time, it looks clearly cheaper than buying a new fast cytometer. Can anyone
tell me something about this possibility and whether you have some
experience on it?
