FACScan side scatter

I happen to notice this blip occurring more when I've changed the
filter or had recently done a preventative maintenance on the
instrument. I've also seen it on the FACSort. I've always assumed it
to be micro bubbles from the maintenance or possibly even the sample
from vortexing.
