POSITION AVAILABLE FOR FLOW CYTOMETRY SCIENTIST

COULTER CORPORATION HAS AN IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR SCIENTIST
WITH A STRONG FOCUS IN FLOW CYTOMETRY.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE WORKING ON VARIOUS CYTOMETRY/IMMUNOLOGY
DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS. PERFORMING RESEARCH FEASIBILITY AND REAGENT
OPTIMIZATION STUDIES OF MULTI-COLOR MONOCLONAL ANTIBODY PRODUCTS
FOR CLINICAL FLOW CYTOMETRY SYSTEMS. DESIGN AND IMPLEMENT ALL
APPROPRIATE EXPERIMENTS AND PREPARE COMPLETE RESULTS OF DATA.

THIS POSITION REQUIRES A BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN IMMUNOLOGY OR LIFE
SCIENCE PLUS 6 YEARS RELATED EXPERIENCE, OR MASTER'S PLUS 4 YEARS
EXPERIENCE OR PH.D. PRIOR FLOW CYTOMETRY EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED
AS WELL AS A SOLID BACKGROUND UTILIZING MONOCLONAL ANTIBODIES
IN MULTI- PARAMETRIC FLOW CYTOMETRY TO ENUMERATE SPECIFIC
CELL POPULATIONS. MUST HAVE RECENT EXPERIENCE IN LEUKEMIA/LYMPHOMA
IMMUNOPHENOTYPING MUST BE COMPUTER LITERATE.
KNOWLEDGE OF CYTOMETRY INSTRUMENTATION IS DESIRABLE.
