...Although we can detect PerCP on the EPICS, we have not been able to do so
on our FACStarPLUS! We are still waiting to hear from BD...and meanwhile we
are trying to figure out the sets of filters and dichroic mirrors for the
FACStar+. Maybe you or someone else out there could help?

PerCP is very photolabile. 50mW of 488nm light is enough to kill the
fluorochrome in my experience. Those who have reported that it works have
used either air-cooled argon lasers or N.D. filters to decrease the power
output of a water-cooled laser. A 670 band pass filter will work just fine
for detection of PerCP fluorescence.
