Position available for an experienced flow cytometer operator
at the newly established Cancer Institute of New Jersey (recently
designated a NCI Cancer Center). The Core Flow Facility, located
in the Piscataway/New Brunswik area of NJ, is equipped with an Epics
Elite, Profile II and XL was well as a BD FACScan. The facility also
maintains 2 laser-based confocal microscopes. Responsibilities will
include daily instrument set-up and operation. Sorting experience a plus.
This flow lab is a basic research lab and does not routinely analyze
clinical samples. Must be able to interact with numerous types of
investigators (students/MDs/Ph.Ds)with varying levels of knowledge
of flow. Operator will be involved with publication and will receive
some tuition reimbursement for courses taken at the
neighboring Rutgers University.
