Immediate opening in a multi user Flow Cytometry Core Facility.
Assist with the operation, calibration, scheduling and routine
maintenance of BDIS FACScan Analyzers and FACStar Plus and Vantage
cell sorters. You will interact with and assist research scientists
and associates, participate in developmental projects, and extract
and formulate methods and techniques from scientific journals.
Requires a BS, MS, MT or equivalent and two years of flow cytometry
experience.
SyStemix is an innovative biotechnology company utilizing our SCID-hu
mouse model for the study of human disease and its treatment. In
addition, we are involved in the clinical use of cellular therapies,
focusing on the human stem cell, its identification and
characterization, its growth in response to novel factors, and its
potential use in the treatment of cancer and other immune-system
diseases.
