To my question regarding user experience and advice for water cooling
lasers, I received 20 responses within a 24 hr turn around time.
Every single EMAIL message, without exception, provided eminently
usable consultation and factual data about a wealth of diverse
subjects, including:
Pros and cons of tap water cooling, uses and models of chillers,
closed recirculating loop heat exchangers, filters, filter change
schedules, room configurations, water temperature, water hardness,
water grunge content, excess sewerage limitations.
I am genuinely grateful to the CYTOMETRY Inter-networking community
for their prompt, generous and wise counsel. Also, I keep reminding
myself, we must never forget that this is all made possible by the
diligent and outstanding efforts of the Purdue Cytometry Folks.
