This notice is a test to see how many (if any) users might be
interested in some software in use at Salk Institute:
A) Sundisplay3 - Flow application that runs under SunOS 4.1.x and
OpenWindows 3.0 (Xview). Has been tested on SPARCStation 1+
and SPARCStation 2's. Also allows remote users to run with X server software
on a networked PC or MAC. Hardcopy driver limited to PostScript devices,
unless you want to make bitmaps and use other drivers. Currently being tried
at NIH too.
B) WINMDI 1.0.2 - Flow application the runs on an IBM 386/33 with math
chip, or 486 machine under DOS and MS Windows 3.1. Program makes histogram,
dotplot, contour, and isometric 3D displays. Hardcopy switch allows user to use
bitmaps or write to PRINTER device context for improved resolution on some
laser printers.
Some who have seen the applications have strongly urged us to offer it
to others. Interested?
