Dear Flow Cytometrists:
Does someone know of a fluorescent reporter dye for potassium ion
concentration in mammalian cells? My flow cytometer has the argon laser
lines available (except UV).
If there is no such dye known, what would be the most suitable stain to
look for the change in transmembrane potential as a result of ion flow
through potassium channels?
Thanks for your kind help,
Heinz Eipel
